Wake is out. Too bad. I like the guy. Ellsbury plays and Coco sits, nursing his knee. Probably a good thing. Ellsbury has that star power.
Make your comments below. My money is on the Sox. I looked up tickets on Ebay. $1000 to $20000. Yikes.

Beckie just struck out the side to open the series, and walked slowly off the mound like he does it everyday. Love it.
Pedroia and Youk are alright and all, but here come the good hitters.
The star-spangled bananner was kinda weird.
OUch! Petey!
I couldn't tell if the arrangement was terrible, or if the echoes in the park made it sound really off-key.
But apparently the composer/conductor is "the epitome of our culture."
Ladies and Gentlemen, the 2007 Boston Red Sox Buzzsaw. I don't care how hot the Rockies are, this Red Sox team is just good.
Boston in four.
I don't think there'll be much drama.
Your Waltham correspondent experienced the fighter-jet flyover in person, with the VERY LOUD F-16s coming up the river and rattling his windows before ascending over Weston and going back to Vermont.
Your tax dollars at work.
The sound of freedom.
K, K, K, K, double.
McCarver says the next stop after third base is home. And that's why third base coaches are so involved in the play.
McCarver: the catcher wants the ball down and gets it, for the most part.
The rest of the ball was elsewhere.
Fox is premiering a show in the spring about a homebuilder. It's gonna be called "Doctor".
Hey, that's MY joke.
Do you think its true that the Red Sox players were congratulating the Yankees before game 4 in 2004?
If so, it was just to soften them up for the coming blow.
Holy smoke. I had to go out tonight to a judge's retirement dinner. Made it back to my car, turned the radio right on, and it was 6-1. "Yikes!" I said. But by the time I made the fairly short drive home it had doubled to 12-1. And still going up! Not much drama, indeed.
Must be I turned it off and went to bed when you left the dinner, Cassie.
Don't agree with Rudy about much, but my heart too stays with the American League when my team is not in the game. Even though I have money on the Rox . . .
Who is retiring?
Judge Mugglin of the Appellate Division -- the Delaware/Otsego County Bar Associations did a dinner in his honor. Lots and lots of judges there.
I'm concerned about my friends the Murphys -- where is the Fame 2 Thread?
As I was eating dinner, I could just imagine the review of James Taylor and the natl anthem, and then the absolutely righteous responses to McCarver's comments.
