Why I Like Manny

It's bizarre how fanatical some get about the Red Sox and winning it all, and blaming managers and players when they don't. I Like Manny's attitude. The normal ebb and flow of baseball makes anything possible, and, as Manny says, Cleveland is hitting and pitching well right now.

So one team out of thirty-two will end up satisfied. That's absurd. If we lose, as they say in France, cess la vie. Root for Cleveland to win the Series. They have a very likable team. And Cleveland can celebrate. Nothing wrong with that.

I think I'd cheer for Colorado, actually. Their story is better, and Eric Wedge annoys the crap out of me, somehow.

For a really annoying reaction to Manny's comments, check out dirt dogs. They treat his attitude as cavalier, or that he just doesn't care about the outcome. Their reaction is exactly the reason why Manny stopped talking to the media in the first place. I find Dirt Dogs really annoying, fickle, and overly dramatic.

Yeah I like Manny's attitude a lot more. It fits the game of baseball much better. If it were football or something like that where every game has to be approached like life or death and all the players are going nuts on adrenaline in big games, then it might not be the best attitude. Baseball is about staying relaxed, putting things in perspective, and having a consistent approach. You can't get pumped up and bust some skillz or something like that in baseball. Besides, I'm more worried about the more important issues anyway, like farting cows.
