. . . a Game 2 Thread.
Dad would normally do this, of course, but he is reading this old-fashioned thing called a "book" while he watches. Plus, he burned his hand pretty badly while he was cooking earlier, and maybe he doesn't feel like typing.
Let the comments begin.

Looks like we've got a game tonight.
Not so popular after all, apparently. Where is everybody?
Homework! For once.
what a concept.
Ooh yeah, I should get on that...
Tina Cervasio is ready to eat you at the REd Sox's site. Look at the picture advertising her blog. She has some TEETH.

Pedroia is unstopable.
Judi, JTs SSB was lovely. One of the best I've ever heard. Not a trace of irony. I loved it. Even Cassie did, too.
Boys to Men should be embarrased. There needs to be A MELODY in there somewhere. I think they started in different keys and spent the entire time hopping back and forth, each trying to find the other's key. It was outrageous. They made imagine Julio Lugo trying to sing.
Schilling is a warrior.
Matt Holliday should also be embarassed (1r,2ss,or,2rs,1s). What was he using for brains?
Schilling, as always, generous with his post-game comments.
The team is rockin', but Colorado is gonna take two out in colorado.
I'm worried about our Waltham correspondent. There was something about a young Yankee(?) intern being killed in Waltham yesterday and I'm hoping it wasn't some upset Yankee fan.
Laura, TINA CERVASIO is unstoppable.
The music -- interesting your comment on JT -- his "whose broad stripes and bright stars" seemed so deeply felt . . . Boys to Men did the 7th inning stretch? I was asleep, but Scott said Kate Smith looks better all the time!
How's your hand?
Did not realize the Yankee intern was killed in Waltham -- guess I missed the very beginning of the game coverage -- cooking dinner, you know. The report I heard mentioned DUI by driver, not Yankee rage.
Tina does have dramatic teeth.
Luke, Pedroia is my new favorite Red Sox, except for all my other favorite Red Sox.
JT and the SSB: these days so many singers are so into melodrama that it's possible to forget that somebody can just stand there with a guitar, sing from the heart, and remind you what a song is all about.
Here's the best article about the Yankee-intern death, from before the Yankee connection was made.
My hand is fine, thank you. I'm a nurse, ya know, and I had it under cold water in 1.47 seconds. It hurt like hell for a few hours last night. Nothing that ice didn't take care of.
My poor sister-in-law recently spilled a cup of hot tea in her lap while visitng/caring for her own sister undergoing cancer treatment at Mt. Sinai. fortunately, there was an ER close-at-hand but the burns were pretty serious. Never trust anything hot.
