Happy Mother's Day from Luke too!
Thank you!! Love the picture. Rahr yourself. Dad and I have spent the day driving around the Northeast visiting our mothers. We have been to see Grandma Murphy and are now at Grandma Frey's. I will have some good pictures of Grandma Murphy to put on the blog shortly. She is doing wonderfully well, so much better than last time we saw her. More soon. Thanks!!
Well, that explains why no one's answering the phone at home.Nice Mother's Day activities!
When are you guys coming home?
Meaning us, Mom and Dad? We got home at 5:30 AM on Monday, just in time for Dad to milk. We slept for a few hours at G'ma and G'pa Frey's before we left and then had this great drive home, listening to country music on roads that were empty except for us, the occasional tractor trailer, and the gorgeous light of a full moon hanging over the Catskills. I spent yesterday staggering around half-asleep and, as of today, feel relatively human. I'll try to get the Grandma Murphy photos up here tonight, and before too long there's another big family-history post coming. Both enterprises are being delayed somewhat by the fact that I still don't have a functioning computer. We're shopping on EBay for a replacement. Maybe I'll find one by Dad's birthday??
Oh, and I loved the Mother's Day card -- thanks, guys. Very funny.
Tom & Cassie, I saw the great pictures of Uncle Tommy and Gramma at the piano on Mother's Day. Mom said it was a really good visit. Sorry the two of you couldn't stay longer. Gramma never ceases to amaze us. If we all have her spunk and zest for life at her age we'll be all set. She is quite the woman. P.S. I have your blog bookmarked and enjoy "checking in" when I can. Love you all.
Michelle, ma belle, sont les mots qui vont tres bien ensemble. Welcome. Stop in for a visit anytime. Don't forget your mother's birthday day after tomorrow. She'll be 62 and she's still a babe.Uncle Tommy
Goodness, we now have three different Michelles (or Micheles) who comment here sometimes: Cousin Michelle (welcome! Come back soon and often!!); Colin's mother Michele G.; and my Lexis friend Michele B. This should be interesting. Let's see how well we do at telling them apart!
