World Travelers
This is SiteMeter's map of the 50 most recent visits to the blog. The two circled IPs are Luke's (in San Diego, though that's not where he is) and Laura's (in Greece.)
What do the different colors (red, white, green) mean? I see what looks like Colorado, Louisiana, somewhere in northwest Canada, a bunch of places in NY, PA, and probably Ontario, Britain, all over Scandinavia, Italy, Hong Kong, and Australia.
The key on the map page at SiteMeter says red is the most recent visitor, green is the 10 previous visitors, and white is for visits previous to 10. On the map page, which is here, you can hover your cursor over each dot to get some information on the visit, or double-click to get to a page with more details about the visit. Sometimes it'll show what search terms found it. For instance, that Hong Kong visitor had searched "Julian Simon, Goldman".
