The original headline was, "Gas Thieves Target Truckers". I don't know when they changed it, but now it says "Fuel Thieves".
I figured the thieves were just stupid. "Hey, I put this "gas" in my car and now it won't run."
But not as stupid as media types. I mean, how much of this thievery do you think really goes on? $40 of deisel is what? A cubic foot weighing about 60 lbs? You're gonna need a truck to steal a meaningful amount of fuel from another truck. I'm sure some small-time thievery goes on, but I'm skeptical about a large number of truckers returning from a shower and finding that their trucks have been emptied of their fuel.
