This has nothing to do with Karl Rove, but the other day my friend Noah walked up to me, and said "I think my cousin knows your friends." I asked who his cousin was, and he replied, "Mary Link." Amazing how small this world is!

I saw Mary a couple of weeks ago in Philadelphia and she did say something about a family member at Simon's Rock. Must be Noah. It is amazing!st

Try it now -- I think I fixed it.

Those comments make me literally sick. I submitted one asking for a correction in the article's erroneous statement that Kevin Barrett is an "assistant professor" at the Univ. of Wisconsin. He is not -- he is a part-time lecturer with a contract to teach for this year alone. Maybe even the fall term alone, I'm not sure. Anyway, do you suppose they'll fix it? Bet they won't.

Sorry that I'm commenting on some of these posts so late, I'm still trying to catch up with the blog i haven't even read anything past this post yet. Anyway yeah those comments were disgusting. It makes me wonder what on Earth is wrong with the people in this country, which is something I don't wonder very often and is something that you usually only hear liberals say. One comment that I liked though was from Linda B, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, "Just because they are academics doesn't prove they are smart." Makes a lot of sense to me. The one thing that I think absolutely 100% of all academics definitely share, is simply the fact they all at least THINK that they are smart. Otherwise they would not have become academics. Not saying that they all aren't smart, many of them are brilliant, others are obviously whack-jobs. But I think I could say for sure that all of them think they are extremely smart, which is where trash like this comes from. One thing that really makes me mad is when people with a basic understanding of science make statements about complicated scientific topics as if they absolutely understand everything they're talking about. That is what all those idiots who said the physics of the explosions were impossible were doing, and that is what lots of global warming advocates do too. I have to go to class now, but I will have a post probably later today about my very interesting weekend at Indoc.
