S-E is finally state-ranked!

With the season now at 15-0-1, the S-E soccer team has finally broken into the state-wide rankings of the New York State Sportswriters Association. Go here and scroll down to Class B. Congratulations, S-E!

There's a game tonight against Frankfort at 7 p.m. Frankfort has also had a great season. They are the champions of the other division in the Center State League, and this is their senior game, so it ought to be quite something. The final game of the regular season will take place this Saturday at 11 against Mount Markham, to be played in West Winfield. We don't have the sectional schedules or seedings yet. Go Luke!

S-E won against Frankfort, 4-2, in the hardest-fought game they've played yet. It was closer than the score sounds -- a real nail-biter. There's an article here:

keep me posted on sectionals games. If we're lucky, there'll be one in the finger lakes region with an evening start.

We should have some information on sectionals by Monday. Luke thinks they might play at SUNY Cortland if they make it far enough up through the sectional levels. We'll keep you posted. The last regular game of the season is at Mt. Markham tomorrow morning at 11.
