You won't have to listen to very much Tim McCarver.
The ALDS (& NLDS) is on TBS, and will have Chip Caray and some other guys (Don Orsillo is one of them - ha!) announcing. The ALCS is also on TBS this year, though Orsillo won't be doing it. The NLCS is on Fox. You'll get to see and hear Timmy McCarver in the World Series.
All the TBSing of the AL series is bad news for those of us who don't get TBS. I'll be watching it online at mlb.com (which should be possible), and if that doesn't work, I'll have to pirate it. Arrr.
Why would I want to watch the playoffs on Caleb's HD tv? That is ridiculous. Hobbes and I are going to the park, you guys have fun with your softball, or whatever whosiewhatsit.

The second biggest reason I'm happy the RS are in the playoffs is that I won't have to watch NESN anymore. Even if I have to listen to Tim McCarver.

Crap, I just realized that I may not have cable in time for playoffs. Gameday doesn't cut it in October.
If you're gonna have internet, I'm fairly certain TBS allows streaming of their games via mlb.com/tbshotcorner
It's possible I'm wrong, and if I am, I'll show you how to "find" the broadcasts online.
