The Syracuse Chiefs (did they drop the "Sky" part?) are now the farm team of the miserable Washington Nationals, not the Blue Jays.
It's not gonna change the quality of players in Syracuse, but it might mean fewer visits by the PawSox.
Also, wouldn't it suck if you were a Blue Jays AAA player, settled in Syracuse, and the Jays dropped Syracuse and moved you to Las Vegas? I think it would.

You'd be a lot farther from Toronto in Las Vegas. On the other hand, anybody living in Central New York as yet another long dark cold winter begins has to wonder whether life might not be a bit more fun in Vegas . . .
When the players heard about it, they all said, "Oh, craps." Odds are they change their minds when it opens up new slots in the batting order. Certainly the weather in Vegas trumps the weather in CNY.
