Oh, one more...

We went to the New Bolton Center and drew on a cow. That triangle is the paralumbar fossa. I can't make out the rest of the drawings...

What? These people never saw a cow before? The girl in front looks like she's gonna wet her pants, and everybody else looks giddy.

That's a nice-looking first-calf heifer. Gee, I hope that girl doesn't wet her pants.

At Penn do they favor right paralumbar fossa omentopexy or right paramedian abomasopexy for treatment of left displacement of the abomasum?

I'm a little jealous, though, Caleb. Surrounded by babes.

Well, I suppose I could go back to nursing.

Hey! You ARE surrounded by babes! I'm going to tell the cows what you said . . .

To the best of my knowledge, the girl did not in fact wet her pants.

I don't know what Penn favors, mostly because we were just there for an anatomy lesson, and we won't have large-animal medicine stuff until after spring break. But i'll keep you posted.

And yes, I do spend the majority of my time surrounded by babes.

I did an online survey by a Penn vet, Darren Remsburg? It's here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=671352403146

People design really poor surveys.

They should ask me for help.
