The UPS driver, my buddy and a Yankee fan was telling me about a bar he goes to where they have a football pool every Thursday for the first 100 players. Entry is $20. The winner(s) of the week get $1500 to split. No spread, just pick the winners. At the end of the season, there is enough money for the grand prize of $10,000.

Actually, Dad, if you wait until before the RS game tomorrow, you'll have 5 games already decided. Both Game 2s in the NL series should be finished by the time the RS game starts.

I can't get on Facebook at work but will put something there tonight to alert the farther-flung Murphies such as Claire who probably don't check the blog daily.
I'm having trouble deciding if I should be faithful to the Sox or go with my gut. It's complicated!!

Laura says that I should say that my submission was late because I was busy saving puppies. Actually, that's fairly accurate. We totally saved a puppy this week, and he went home this morning.
