Yes, it is.
There is a luncheon tomorrow for Judge Garry in Albany with all the judges and hangers-on from the 3rd department of the appellate division of the New York Supreme Court.
And I get to go! David, bless his heart, will do morning milking. I'm free from 7am to 5pm. Wow!
I get to wear a suit!
I will be out of my element.
Mom is magnificent. I think I'm an atheist, but every day I thank God that I married your mother. What would she do without me, poor thing?

Well, let me tell ya. Her car would never get inspected and she'd never pay her bills.

What would any of us do without Dad? There would probably be a lot of cars that really needed oil changes.
One of 'em stuck off the highway somewhere in Rochester, two or three of them stuck in Philadelphia, one stuck someplace between here and Albany or Dutchess County -- and all of them waiting hopelessly for somebody to show up to rescue them with a flatbed trailer who will never come. It's a tragic image. We should all thank goodness for Dad.
Who, by the way. drove me and Stacy all the way to Albany and back today to watch Beth sworn in at the Appellate Division, which was SUCH a great moment, I can't begin to describe it, you should have seen her mother holding the Bible for her while the Presiding Justice swore her in -- and did not complain when I had to have a last-minute meeting which made him late getting home to feed the cows. Thanks, Dad. It's a good thing we have the Internet so you can know that you are appreciated. All those cars who would be dead without you thank you, too.
If it weren't for me, on the other hand, we'd have 1 LESS dead car.
That's great about Beth. I hope Dad had fun wearing his suit.
