Claire sez:
That's Jesse in his ironclad called the return of the Merrimac. It had to be constructed from 2 rolls of masking tape and cardboard only. He made it across the science pond and back without sinking. Of the 35 boats only about 7 completed the course. He did not do it in record time but he had a blast.

The video of jesse's heat is at http://student.choate.edu/photography/Galleries/2004-5/Spring/PhysicsPhlotilla/Heat%201.wmv
It's pretty funny. The brown blob in the water in front of (behind?) Jesse's boat is wreckage of another boat. The swimmer in the photo is not a spotter or safety officer but the crew of the brown blob. Choatians sure know how to have fun!?
Hey, fellow murphies, nice blog. For an insight into my twisted mind, click on the link at my name. Yeah, the physics phlotilla was a load of phun. Can we do that at the outer banks this summer?

Never mind, I phound it! Now I don't know how to delete my comment . . .
Hey Jesse! Seems like you're born to blog! Awful big list of things you're into, though. You might want to cut it down a bit so you're not spread too thin. Don't give up on making fun of George Bush, though. Not too many people doing that, ya know?!
Oh no, I would never stop thinking of subliminable strategeries to expose the disassembling misunderestimated nucular suicider, our president!
Good! Yeah, I hate slick talkers, too!
