It has come to our attention that we could/should have eaten that oyster, and could have eaten the crab if we were so inclined. Considering how upset Kate was when I called her over all excitedly (she thought I'd found a pearl), I don't think she would have OK with trying it.

How big is the little crab? Pencil-eraser size?
A bit bigger than that. It was a very large oyster. For comparison's sake, you can see my fingers under the shell of the oyster, in my bike gloves.
