Oh, that's gorgeous. I love watching him tipping his head so intently back and forth as he listens before he dives.
Somehow that head-tipping must enhance their sound perception. Dogs do it, too, when they are particularly fascinated by some noise. Maybe it helps them pinpoint the location of the sound?
