And that is good news about NYRI, but it really gets me how so many people completely misunderstand the problem with the power lines. I don't know how many people I heard say, "I don't have a problem with the government using eminent domain for public interests as long as they don't use it for private interests." Right, so if I come to your house and steal your kitchen table for "the public," then it's okay, but not if I'm just taking it for myself. Eminent domain needs to be abolished altogether.
