You forgot to mention your antipathy towards those who are different. That's an automatic reaction to economic difficulties, every time -- at least for typical white people.
But of course that's not the reason for the antipathy of the urban elite for those who are different from THEM -- such as, for instance, rural folks who go to church and go hunting and don't like being patronized.

Ah ha. I'd heard a little bit about a controversy over Obama saying voters were "bitter," and I didn't really get what the big deal is. I get it now.
I can't wait til this whole Clinton-Obama mess is over and I can decide which one I'm not gonna vote for anyway.
