In other words, Steve Jobs would be more exalted in their eyes if he helped other people in some manner that specifically would NOT help himself. It ought to be easy for any idiot to figure out that a company like Apple does more to improve and lengthen men's lives than any charity ever has. They don't care about that though. The only thing they care about is whether or not Steve Jobs benefits. The specific thing they desire is to see Steve Jobs get NOTHING. They don't care about human life and happiness, if they did, they'd want more Apples and less charities. The only thing they care about is seeing the people who are better than them suffer.

I'd like to ask some of these media types how much money THEY've given to charities, and how many jobs THEY've created.
