Caleb I could be wrong but I think I heard that part of the reason they swear so much is actually because of libel laws. Obviously they make fun of LOTS of people on this show, so libel trouble is something that they have to look out for. I guess calling someone an "f***tard" is libel-proof.

Anti-Walmartism summed up in sixty seconds. At least the two f-tards were honest.
Penn and Teller are quickly becoming my heroes.
Tell me about it. I kinda want the DVD set now, if there is one. They had me at:
"She's weird. But hot. But weird. But hot."
Although, and I never thought I'd say this about anyone ever, they swear a little too much.
Agreed that they are brilliant. I'm perplexed by the swearing, though. It adds nothing to make up for what it subtracts.

And I also think they do it because they CAN do it. They won the Hugh Hefner 1st Amendment Award a couple years ago.
Basically I think the swearing is meant to be done somewhat facetiously. It's not like they're thinking "Look how cool we are! We swear!"
Do you think those t-shirts are actually available?
This is Laura, not Mom. And I meant the t-shirts that they were showing at the end of the clip.
