Because the Red Sox lost?

No, silly. That's the reason my heart is gripped by icy fear and dread. The season is over, but wait 'til next year.

C'mon, everybody. This is a case, like in school, where no one wants to give the answer because it's so obvious.

Just guessing here, but maybe because it's winter in the Southern Hemisphere?

No, no, no. That has nothing to do with it. Just like the fact that it's summer in the NH has nothing to do with the fact that it's been hot.

Ahah -- because the 2000 election was stolen by the current administration and therefore the obvious steps were not taken to mitigate global warming and the attendant climate changes and therefore South Africa is having weather other than their usual -- is that the answer you were looking for?

Sorry, day to day weather is not indicative of global warming -- it takes a pattern. Just ask Al.
