Just a taste

. . . of fireworks at the Reservoir.  I wish it were possible to video the whole shoreline all at once, with bonfires ringing the lake and so many fireworks shooting off from every cottage that no matter where you look, you're missing something, and the bangs and hisses and booms and sounds of happy people hooting in delight and applauding one another echoing over the water for hours.   Plan now to make it to CNY next July 3rd.  Not to be missed.

Looks awesome. I'm really sorry I missed it. With Anna starting a new job and not being able to take vacation and all it was just more driving than I wanted to do all by myself. Next year though we'll plan ahead and try to make it happen, and I will definitely bring fireworks.

So much fun! I was pooped after two hours of lighting fireworks. it would be nice next year to have more and better fireworks and some help with setting them off. I was nervous about them at first, but then got comfortable.

If only Grandma Frey could have been there. She so loved it last year.

We know a little more now about what kinds to buy. We were wandering around in that New Hampshire fireworks store like little lost sheep.

The biggest one we had cost $15! Can't do a lot of those. One of our neighbors had a really excellent collection of aerials with lotsa lights and booms but I don't know what they were exactly.

More research required for next year.
