Cool. I actually didn't even realize that he wrote the tune, too. It sounds so much like it would just be some standard gospel tune.
it's a beautiful tune. It has a lot of My Wild Irish Rose in it. I don't think the transcription is evidence that he wrote it. Also weird that the transcription is in b-flat, but he plays it in F.
F is much better for that than b-flat.
