Sigh. If only the Republicans actually DID believe in that.
The word "simplistic" is an anti-concept, attempting to package deal simplifying things and over-simplifying things into one category, and then saying that it's all bad. Man has absolutely no way to think other than by simplifying things into concepts. Otherwise he'd just be trying to take in literally everything all at once in an un-differentiated un-integrated mess, like a baby does before it learns to integrate it's senses into percepts. All of our learning, essentially, consists of simplifying things.
