Hehehehe.

I love the look on Maher's face as Hitchens explains the fallacy of the Bush joke. He looks like he's in one of those nightmares where you go to school without your clothes on.

I love Chris Hitchens. He may be a bitter old curmudgeon, but I very rarely disagree with him. I guess that makes me a bitter old curmudgeon?

I'd love to know where Maher was going with "but sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." It couldn't have been good.

If you search around you can find the whole episode on YouTube. I watched part of it and after the cigar thing Maher's point was that a cigar is a cigar, an idiot is an idiot and they're just telling it like it is. He may be right in some cases, but Hitchens hit the nail on the head identifying the motivations behind making Bush jokes every 5 minutes.

Hitchens is brilliant. I also don't disagree with him too often either, on a fundamental level at least. I really like the way that he talks especially, he's extremely articulate.

Have you read Letters to a Young Contrarian? If not, I'll lend it to you sometime.
