Earthquake refubees?

That bump you can barely see in the center, below the branch, is a swarm of bees that showed up in downtown Norwich, just outside my office window, about an hour after the earthquake. They milled around in mid-air over East Main Street for a while and then clustered in this tree in the park. I have no idea whether the quake could have disturbed them -- anyone know?

The newest cousin
