About to set out
We thought about a different destination altogether!
But we ended up in Sutton, West Virginia. Five hundred and four miles, eight and a half hours, 29.9 miles per gallon.
The ride down from Corning to W. Va. was just beautiful. We thought it might be slow but not at all. Wide-open highways with no traffic to speak of and lush, summery green mountains just rolling on forever. The picture doesn't begin to do it justice. I'd happily come this way again.
