Hey! Your trees are Blocking My solar Panels

Chop 'em Down! It's the law! It's, like, so warped, on so many levels. I don't even know where to begin. "Hey! I'm a bigger environmentalist than you are!" "Yeah, well, I drive a Prius!" "That's nothing. MY car is all electric."

Sequestering Carbon? Carbon? What's next? Nitrogen? And, get this: The Solar Shade Protection Act. Some people really mean it when they say there oughta be a law.

I am boggled.

Irony, or Poetic Justice

Two years ago, the Sundance Film Festival featured "An Inconvenient Truth". This year, the SFF is, by "concensus", the coldest one ever.

It's snowing in Los Angeles. The freeways are closed.

I know, I know. Global warming makes it colder.

I also know that global trends can't be inferred from local conditions. But I also know that's exactly what the hystericals do.
